- I very much like the idea of capping deductions at some dollar amount. I'm partial to capping deductions at $35,000.00 or maybe lower. Desperately need to cut the military spending and stop waging preemtive wars. Raise capital gains tax to 19% and raise Medicare payroll tax by 1%.
